true.. plastic playing cards are good for playing games, but they r not smooth and slick. Normal cards are good for magicians and XCMs, but plastic are just good for playing games
@CipherMind117 i think that the finish they use on the tally-ho is a little better, but i agree, plastic is crap for magic. i dont use anything but bicycle for magic, which is great because they make the air-flow, UV-500 and lenoid (i think thats it) finishes. they are the top three.
bicycles prestige is AWSOME, so is thier regular plastic

get bicycle god lol bicycle makes the best plastic cards (all plastic cards arent good but bicycle is a little better at plastic) but most of their paper cards dont last long

kems need to be in near perfect humidity and temperature conditions. Ive had 6 decks all have warped or turned brittle. Ive had 2 decks of Copags and one is still in the wrapper because i havent even needed the second deck yet. been over a year.
Plastic cards do not fan or spread well at all. Plastic cards are absolutely good for party games and private poker games ETC, but for magic (like what I do) I CANNOT use plastic cards. I use Bicycle decks from Ellusionist with a uv-500 air flow finish. They spread and fan like a dream.
If you buy something at Walmart, expect bad cads.
plastic playing cards cant do tricks , spreading and fan well. Bicycle And Bee best.
Kem is better than Copag. I like them both but I prefer the classic old kems.

They are all high quality cards, but Copag has been used in the World Series of Poker.

they are more durable and you have more control over the cards. Plus, with a plastic deck, you can not do a thumb fan if you’re into that display. The plastic deck will only cause restrictions and force you to get used to the feel of the thinness of the deck so whenever you handle a normal deck of bikes your hands won’t feel right. Normal Bikes are the best for magic. Tally hos, vintage design and original bikes are ideal for magic.
How come normal playing cards are better for magic?
i agree, plastic is easier to clean and use but i would think that regular Bicycles are the best if your are interested in card tricks or things like that.

I prefer using Copag 100% plastic playing cards for playing poker. I bought my first Copag deck one year ago, and still playing with them(about 5-15 hours every weekend).
For magic I would recommend using normal playing cards.
