Could poker, blackjack and roulette tables make their way onto Vernon Downs’ gaming floor? Possibly — if harness-racing officials and a majority of state senators have their way. But first, the state Assembly would need to pass a matching bill before it could be seriously considered. That seems unlikely to occur prior to the Legislature breaking for summer, some Assembly members said Wednesday.
