I haven’t been able to figure these out…
1.) A family has two children. Find the probability that at least one of them is a boy. Think about sample space.
2.) Assume that when two NFL teams play a game, either team has an equal chance of winning. What is the proability that a team will go 16-0?
3.) In roulette, there are 38 spaces on a wheel. 18 are black, 18 are red, and 2 are green. What is the probablity of getting 4 reds in a row?

1. 1/2
2. (1/2) raised to the 16th power because they play 16 games and you get 1/65536 or .000015259
3. (18/38) raised to the 4th power because you play 4 times and you get 6561/130321 or .0503449
1) Your sample space is:BB,BG,GB,GG.
So the probability that at least one is a boy is 3/4
2) .5^16 =.000015259
3)(18/38)^4 =
