At the casino craps table, when can I take my money off 4-5-6-8-9-10 numbers on top?

I understand basic strategy of craps I just dont know when I can take my money off the numbers above the come line. I lose it on a 7 so can I take it off on any other number?

if they were place bets (and i think that is what you are talking about), you can take them down any time (as long as the dice are not in the air!).

if they were come bets (that is you place $5 on the come line, a four was rolled and the $5 was moved to four), you never can take down that bet. you must wait for a four to be rolled or a seven. this bet is a contract bet. it would be like taking down your blackjack bet in the middle of a hand while the dealer has a ten showing and you have 15.

If you placed the money there, you can take it down after any roll.

If the bet was moved up there from a come bet, it must stay until it wins or loses.

After any roll just ask for your money back. I personally don’t like to use those.

never……assuming you actually understand basic strategy ….buying the 4 or ten for a dollar on a win for a 39dollar bet is advanced strategy…not placing the 4, 5 9, or 10 is correct…not buying the 6 or 8 is correct…placing the 6 or 8 isn’t above the come line….however, at anytime you can take the odds bet off…..
