To be selective and to not look at every opportunity is very important for success. Many lines will be quit on early.You will need to wait to play the next line. Please get used to the fact of leaving many lines unplayed. This is most important because it means that the line was giving something too high or too low and this is what we are not looking for. We want to play lines that closely work with the Rules of play and give the best results.

I haven’t been able to figure these out…

1.) A family has two children. Find the probability that at least one of them is a boy. Think about sample space.

2.) Assume that when two NFL teams play a game, either team has an equal chance of winning. What is the proability that a team will go 16-0?

3.) In roulette, there are 38 spaces on a wheel. 18 are black, 18 are red, and 2 are green. What is the probablity of getting 4 reds in a row?

A roulette wheel has 38 slots, numbered 0, 00, and 1 through 36. If you bet 1 on a specied
number, you either win 35 if the roulette ball lands on that number or lose 1 if it does not.
If you continually make such bets, approximate the probability that
(a) you are winning after 34 bets;
(b) you are winning after 1,000 bets;
(c) you are winning after 100,000 bets.
Assume that each roll of the roulette ball is equally likely to land on any of the 38 numbers.
