However, if a consciousness could have an experience beyond intellectual understanding to “Know God” then there is no question that this universe has a Creator and there is a reason and purpose for all things. Every person has lessons to learn and situations in life gives them the opportunity to learn them in order to progress spiritually. The only thing we take with us when we ‘die’ is our spiritual progress. We don’t really ‘die’ as Soul is Eternal and we return to our own Karma to pick up the lessons again. The goal of having this life is to overcome our egos, attachments to things not permanent and return to the Oneness with God.

Some take the hard path and some take the easy path. A real seeker of Truth will not be satisfied with the status quo and will be looking for what makes sense.

There is a dharma for everything, including us. We have to discover what we are here on this earth to learn and be.

I also know that God answers prayers. Not always the way we like, but He does answer them, either “yes”, “no” or “not yet”. We are not without hope when we trust in the Lord. “God works all things to the good, for those that love God, and are called according to His purposes”, so saith the Scripture.

God is Sovereign and there are too many things that happen, take the founding of our nation, which should never have happened….how could a small group of farmers beat the mighty British Empire? ….anyway, God is sovereign and we should remember this too

Think of it this way… I get sick and I pray to get well, therefore I am thinking of God. Or I get sick and I pray but I don’t get well, perhaps I should evaluate my faithfulness and willingness to repent. Or I get sick and i am faithful yet God still wont heal me, then I must be in training for perseverance for something in the future.
